REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
Before the commencement of the academic semester, the student must take the following actions:
1. Contact the Admissions and Registration Department to obtain the registration form and next semester's schedule of courses.
2. Consult his academic advisor or the concerned Department Head for selecting the courses as directed and approved by the concerned department and record the selected subjects on the respective form.
3. Return the registration form to the College Registrar for approval.
Semester Credit Hours Load
The average credit hours load ranges between 14-18 hours for the regular semester. The minimum credit hours load for a regular semester is 14 hours. Outstanding students may register for more hours than the maximum stated by obtaining the approval of concerned department, if their cumulative grade point average is 2.5 or more.
Drop and Add Course
The student may modify his class schedule by consulting his academic advisor to add or drop courses.Students may drop courses during the first two weeks of study in a regular semester, and within the first week of the Summer Term. Adding new courses may take place during the first week of study in a regular semester (first three days of the Summer Term). Drops or adds will not be finalized unless approved by the academic advisor. A student must submit the registration form for this purpose to the Registrar's Office. When the student receives his new schedule after adding or dropping courses, he must verify its accuracy.
